Last day of Technicraft Term 3
LAST DAY OF TECHNICRAFT:( !
Plan
- Last day
- Mr Blankenaar
- Paint
- Paint brushes
- Chromebooks
- Parodies
- Paper
- Canvas boards
- Students
- Ballpoint markers
Today at Technicraft was the official last day of being at Technicraft for Term 3. Before we left Technicraft we had to make sure our work was totally up to standard we weren't starting anything new because of course it's the last day so we had to make sure that our unfinished work was completed. A lot of us were touching up on our parodies.
Mr Blankannar was instructing us in the beginning because we were told that we had to finish a busking task of a old man on the couch with empty beer bottles. We had to predict why he was looking so sad or depressed. Once we were finished we all got onto what else was needed to be finished like our tiles, Canvas boards and parodies. The parodies task was to select a cartoon character and to remake it on a piece of cardboard paper.
The tiles task involved getting a cardboard and cutting out geometrical shapes and cut smaller pieces and add them to the middle of the big shape. At technicraft we were learning about colour groups and colour contrast used for our singlets we were using Tints, Tones, Secondary colours for our singlets we have been learning about our colour contrast everyday at technicraft since so that when we leave we do remember how outstanding our work looks other than plain ordinary colours.
Term 3 is coming to an end, next term I look forward to cooking classes at technicraft.

Technicraft!
Today at science it was another day but an extraordinary experiment I had a brilliant day comparing it to last week we had baking soda 30mls vinegar 150mls we had a bottle a balloon and a funnel. Miss Gawith showed us the first of what we had to do and instructed us the first step for what we need to do she poured in 150mls of vinegar than but the funnel over the balloon and started to pour in that 30mls of baking soda into the balloon once that was done.
She placed the balloon over the bottle with 150mls of vinegar in it and uplifted the balloon above the bottle and all the baking soda gently brushed through the bottle and straight away it fizzed up until it would reach certain filling and would pop.
We were waiting for a final warning to move away from the bottle exploding in our faces and eventually it did. Half of us was a least covered in vinegar and totally it stunk the whole room and most of me being covered all in it as well.
It was then time for the groups to do this experiment and everyone was instructed to go outside because then the room will smell like vinegar so Xyril and I found a place to do this experiment and it was a blue bench our experiment did not really turn out best because it never exploded it only fizzed up and then the balloon began to sag..
I had really enjoyed doing this experiment and I would really enjoy doing another one exactly like this but different ingredients.
